TEN YEARS AGO TODAY

Two of the 18 Marvel comics released on September 20, 2006 had Djurdjevic covers: BLADE #1 and X-MEN: FIRST CLASS #1
His first contributions to comic history displayed a master's understanding of anatomy, an ability depicting a plethora of diverse textures and a compelling command of colors but it is his gift for composition that makes his pieces more than the sum of their parts.

"I was far more excited to work on BLADE than X-MEN FIRST CLASS because it meant confining myself to the restrictions of an all ages book to work on the X-Men. But even so, I really wanted to do a good job with it, so I tried to come up with different solutions that were simple and beautiful to look at."
